Newcastle and West Ham join race for Monaco defender Benoît Badiashile

As reported by Foot Mercato, after Wolves made a €30m offer according to L’Équipe last week, Newcastle United and West Ham United have added to the Premier League interest in the 20-year-old centre-back.

Both clubs have already contacted the entourage of the player as well as the club to enquire over their demands for any possible deal. Badiashile has been of interest in England across the Premier League for some time.

Not 21 until March, the France under 21s defender has already played 104 games for Monaco and has Champions League experience.

West Ham are expected to make an offer soon while Newcastle will act should their pursuit of Sven Botman and Diego Carlos come to nothing.
