As reported by Le10Sport, Newcastle United maintain their interest in Lens’ Ivorian midfielder Seko Fofana and are looking to make this year’s GFFN 100 winner a priority in their summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old’s contract expires in 2024, meaning, as the outlet says, Newcastle could need to pay a sizeable see for the highly sought-after talent.
Newcastle, Leeds United and Burnley were all linked with the midfielder in January, while Lyon are considering an offer for Fofana as part of a major squad overhaul this summer.
Fofana exclusively spoke to GFFN last month, read the full interview here.
