Ligue 2 side Nîmes have this afternoon announced that manager Pascal Plancque had been suspended, with the club sitting in 12th place in the league.
The statement explains that the decision had been made “following events recently brought to the attention” of the club, with no further elaboration.
The 58-year-old had been in charge of the club since February of 2021, having previously been assistant. He has notably been assistant to Claude Puel at both Southampton and Leicester City.
