Official | Former Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim leaves Al-Hilal after eight months

As confirmed by the club, former Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has left the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal by mutual agreement after eight months in charge.

Since taking over in June last year, Jardim won the Asian Champions League and the Saudi Super Cup before losing out in the World Club Cup semi-finals to Chelsea last week.

In the first of two spells as Monaco coach, Jardim led the club’s 2017 title-winning charge before later being sacked twice in 14 months either side of Thierry Henry’s ill-fated spell as Monaco coach.
