PSG have confirmed that former Lille sporting director Luis Campos has joined the club as a “sporting adviser,” replacing Leonardo, whose departure has never been made official.
In a press release from the club, it was stated that Campos will be in charge of the organisation of the club, the recruitment, and the performance of the men’s side.
It has been reported that despite the officialisation of his arrival only coming on Friday, he has already begun recruitment work for the club. According to Le Parisien, the former Lille and Monaco sporting director has already travelled to Milan to discuss a potential transfer for Milan Skriniar (27).
Speaking in the press release, Campos said, “I am very happy to join Paris-Saint-Germain, which I consider to be the most ambitious and exciting football club in the world of football. We share the same vision, a vision in which I firmly believe, and I can’t wait to start working towards developing the incredible potential of the club.”
