Olympiacos bid for Nathanaël Mbuku falls short of Stade de Reims’ valutation

Giannnis Chorianopoulos is reporting that Olympiacos have bid for Stade de Reims winger Nathanaël Mbuku (20), but the Greek side’s offer doesn’t meet the Ligue 1 side’s valuation.

L’Équipe reported back in December that Stade de Reims were open to selling the attacker for €12m, but the club’s valuation of their young France U20 international has since decreased.

Stade de Reims would now be willing to accept an offer between €6-€7m as the player has only one year left on his current deal. Olympiacos are looking to make the most of that fact and buy the player at a cut-price deal.

However, their current offer of €4.5m isn’t deemed acceptable by the Ligue 1 club, which is standing firm on its valuation. Stade de Reims’ academy product has made 73 appearances for the club. Last season, he featured in 30 Ligue 1 fixtures, scoring twice and registering one assist.
