Santi Aouna is reporting that Rennes midfielder Lovro Majer (24) is garnering interest from PSG, where he is admired by Luis Campos, whilst foreign clubs, notably Real Madrid, are also watching the Croatian.
Luis Campos’ predecessor Leonardo also held an interest in Majer, who scored 11 goals and registered 13 assists in all competitions last season.
Majer only signed for Rennes last summer and has a contract that runs until 2026, but his continuation at the Breton club has been thrust into doubt by an impressive first season, which has caught the eye of some of Europe’s elite.
As well as PSG, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and RB Leipzig are also interested in the Croatian international. Real Madrid see Majer as a potential replacement for his compatriot Luka Modric (36).
