PSG looking at Nice’s Khéphren Thuram

According to L’Équipe, PSG are looking at the possibility of bringing in Nice’s French U21 international Khéphren Thuram (21).

In their bid to reinforce the midfield, Thuram could offer another strong option, following the signature of Porto’s Portuguese international Vitinha (22) for a fee of €40m. The club have also been in pursuit of Lille’s Renato Sanches to fill the midfield position that should be vacated by Leandro Paredes (who has received interest from Manchester United) and Idrissa Gueye.

Indeed, Gueye (32), as well as Danilo Perreira (30) could be offered up as part of the negotiations for incoming players, in an attempt to lower asking prices.

It is reportedly the new Sporting Director, Luis Campos who has driven PSG’s newfound interest in the son of France’s all-time record holder for international appearances, Lilian Thuram (142). Furthermore, Khéphren Thuram will be familiar with the new PSG coach Galtier, having worked with the him last season on the south coast.
