PSG open talks for Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar

Le Parisien are reporting that PSG have opened discussions to bring Inter Milan center-back Milan Skriniar (27) to the Parc des Princes.

The Slovakian defender only has a year remaining on his contract and has prompted PSG to make an approach. The news, confirmed by RMC, comes shortly after Presnel Kimpembe (26) voiced doubt about his continuation at the French champions.

Incoming PSG sporting director Luis Campos personally attended meetings between the two clubs in Milan to begin the discussions over a transfer.

PSG could also dip back into the Italian market with a move for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca (23), who, according to Le Parisien, is also “a priority” for the Parisian club.

Skriniar made 35 starts in Serie A last season, scoring 3 goals as Inter Milan narrowly missed out on the Serie A title, ultimately losing out to city rivals AC Milan.
