PSG were in for Erik ten Hag before he joined Manchester United

In an interview with German website Wett Freunde, transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio discussed the potential options to succeed Mauricio Pochettino on the Paris Saint-Germain bench.

He indicates that the only certainty as of now is that the Argentine will be leaving at the end of the season. The manager has been ambiguous when asked about his future in the last week, indicating that he and Kylian Mbappé would “today, be 100%” at PSG next season, before going on to clarify his comments.

Di Marzio explains that as he sees it, there is nothing on the table with regard to Antonio Conte moving to Paris, although the Tottenham Hotspur manager could be replaced by Pochettino should the latter wish to return to his former club.

Erik ten Hag was a target for PSG before he committed to joining Manchester United at the end of the season, with the current potential options now consisting of Conte, Joachim Löw or Thiago Motta. The latter, now Spezia coach, played for 6 years with Les Parisiens and is fondly remembered, is said to be a recurring target for the club.
