Reaction as Malamine Efekele (18) signs pro-deal at Monaco: “They’ve cloned Kylian Mbappé”

According to RMC Sporta stir on social media was created after youngster Malamine Efekele signed his first professional contract at Monaco.

Whilst the player isn’t a particularly known name to French football, he has been the subject of much talk on social media  due to the player’s scary likeliness to a certain Kylian Mbappé – and it doesn’t stop at the looks.

Efekele was first trained at AS Body, like the Parisian superstar, and went through similar elite training at Clairefontaine as did the current France international. What is most striking is that the current Monegasque was even coached by the father of the PSG striker: Wilfred Mbappé.

The young striker joined Monaco’s academy in 2019, and his playing style is considered lively and unpredictable. For the Principality’s U19 side, the player made 22 appearances and scored 14 goals last season. For the 2004-born forward, the Mbappé comparisons will simply continue to come – should he earn some first team minutes after signing a professional contract with Monaco several days ago.
