As reported by Foot Mercato, Ligue 1 side Stade Reims are interested in signing Malmö’s Anel Ahmedhodzic with the 22-year-old defender keen to find a new challenge after the Swedish club’s European adventure this autumn. The player’s father explained recently:
“A lot of clubs are interested in Anel. Milan’s interest seems to have intensified, they contacted Malmö. There’s also Brentford, a German club and two French clubs. Everything is possible.”
Reims are indeed one of the French sides mentioned and have already signed from Sweden this window, with Swedish international defensive midfielder Jens Cajuste joining from Danish team FC Midtjylland for a club record fee.
