As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are in talks to sign Lille’s right-back Zeki Çelik but a fee is proving difficult to agree upon.
Personal terms have already been agreed with the Turkish international who impressed as LOSC won the French title last year but has seen his form evaporate this season.
Nevertheless, Lille are looking for €9m for the 25-year-old but Roma have only offered €6m. The Serie A side’s general manager Tiago Pinto, however, expects to find a deal at between €7m and €7.75m, says Di Marzio.
Çelik has played 143 games for Lille since joining in 2018, providing 14 assists and eight goals.
