Senegal manager Aliou Cissé believes that Liverpool forward Sadio Mané (30) would be making the correct choice in making a move to German champions Bayern Munich this summer.
In a press conference transcribed by beIN Sport, Cissé said, “He isn’t going into unknown territory. For me, where he will feel best is Bayern. Bayern is intense, football under pressure with a German manager. Sadio played in Salzburg, in Austria, a border country.”
He continued, “I tell my players to try to sort out their contract issues so that when their respective championships begin, they will have already found a base level.”
Mané has been linked with Bayern Munich, with personal terms on the move to the German side reportedly agreed, according to LÉquipe. Currently, however, there is no agreement between the two clubs over a transfer. PSG have also been linked with the forward, as have Barcelona and Real Madrid.
