RMC Sport report that although Sergio Ramos is aware that his transfer has not yet lived up to expectation, he is intent on remaining at Paris Saint-Germain for the season to come.
The Spaniard has only made 4 league appearances during his time in France so far, due to an ongoing right calf problem which he picked up on arriving this summer from Real Madrid.
The World Cup winner’s entourage has told RMC that he wants to stay in order to “show that he can still win titles”. The club will sit down with the defender for a discussion to see how he feels about the situation, and then a mutual decision will be made.
Ramos is expected to make his return to the squad for tomorrow evening’s reception of Lorient, having been out since the end of January.
