RMC Sport report this afternoon that Paris Saint-Germain are on the lookout for a backup option to full-back Achraf Hakimi, with Colin Dagba set to leave the club this summer.
The 23-year-old, who only made 3 appearances this year after playing in 25 games in the previous year, has attracted interested from Strasbourg as well as several unnamed German clubs.
With newly-arriving sporting adviser Luis Campos working on the club’s summer recruits, a second-choice right-back has been identified as one of the positions to bring in, but he must first get Dagba’s departure over the line.
The Moroccan’s arrival last summer has effectively pushed Dagba out of the team, with his €60m transfer from Inter proving to be an instant success.
The Frenchman’s current contract expires at the end of the 2023/24 season. He is set to leave PSG having played 77 games for the first team, scoring once and making 6 assists over four seasons as a professional.
