There have been multiple reports of a breakdown in the relationship between Neymar and Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-German.
Following Brazil’s 5-1 win over Tunisia, former PSG defender Thiago Silva took stock of what appears to be a “controversial” topic these days, admitting that while he couldn’t talk about Mbappé, Neymar, according to Silva, does everything to help his teammates.
As quoted by RMC Sport, the 38-year-old Chelsea centre-back said:
“I can’t talk about that [the relationship between Neymar and Mbappé]. I’m not inside PSG. I don’t know what exactly is going on. I can’t talk about Kylian. I can talk about Neymar who I know very well, he does everything to help his team.”
Despite the deteriorating bond between the pair on and off the field, PSG have made a brilliant start to their new campaign, having remained unbeaten in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
In the new season, while the 30-year-old Brazilian forward has amassed 11 goals and eight assists from 11 appearances in all competitions, the 23-year-old Frenchman is not far behind with 10 goals from nine games.
