Serie A sides Torino and Sassuolo view Lorient’s Armand Laurienté (23) as a replacement for potential high-profile outgoings, according to Ignazio Genuardi.
Sassuolo are preparing for the potential departures of Gianluca Scamacca (23), who has been linked to PSG, as well as Domenico Berardi (27). Torino are also reportedly preparing for life after Croatian winger Josip Brekalo (23), who has confirmed his desire to leave the Italian side.
Both clubs are therefore looking to rejuvenate their front lines and have landed upon a common target – Lorient’s French forward Laurienté. The former Orléans man made 35 Ligue 1 appearances last term, scoring 6 goals and delivering 2 assists, as the side beat to drop.
For now, it is seemingly Sassuolo who are most strongly exploring the option to bring in the French U21 international. Laurienté joined for €3m from Rennes in 2020 and still has two years left on his current deal.
