According to GOAL, Torino have made a €10m plus €4m add-ons offer for Reims centre-back Wout Faes (24) – the Belgian has already agreed a four-year contract with the Italian side. Reims, however, want €15m for the defender with more easier-to-attain add-ons to the deal.
It was reported last week that Faes was close to joining the Serie A side after they switched attention to the player following the collapse of a potential deal to sign former OL man Jason Denayer (who is currently a free-agent). The 24-year-old Reims centre-back was Torino’s second option and an agreement between the concerned parties is still reportedly close.
Since joining from Oostende in the summer of 2020, Faes has been capped by Belgium and played 74 times for Reims, scoring five goals.
