PSG flew away to Qatar for the first leg of their lucrative Middle East winter tour on Tuesday night, where they stayed for just over 24 hours . Les Parisiens touched ground at Doha this Wednesday at dawn and took possession of their 5-star The Torch hotel rooms before taking part in commercial activities with PSG’s main sponsors, L’Equipe are reporting. After lunch and an afternoon break, PSG players trained in the nearby Al-Khalifa International stadium for an evening session open to the public.

30,000 locals filled the stands to watch the Christophe Galtier-led side. L’Équipe state that Argentina World Cup winner Lionel Messi was the most cheered-on PSG player. Les Parisiens won’t stick around too long in Qatar though – the team fly away to Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, on Thursday morning for the most anticipated part of their Middle East winter tour : a friendly game against Riyadh Season, a team made up of players from Al-Hilal and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
This will likely be the final game between two era-defining players in Lionel Messi and Ronaldo. The game will take place at Riyadh’s King Fahd Stadium and is scheduled to kick-off at 6pm CET. For the occasion, PSG will wear their brand-new black fourth kit.
