Al-Nassr want to sign Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard

According to Foot MercatoSaudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, who recently signed Cristiano Ronaldo (37), want to bring in Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard (32) in the summer.

The Saudi club have only just signed Ronaldo on a free transfer. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward joined following a bombastic interview, which left his role at the Old Trafford club untenable. Al-Nassr, and Saudi football in general, is looking to attract the biggest stars in order to develop the competitive and commercial aspects of the sport in the country.

Foot Mercato have previously reported Al-Nassr’s interest in Chelsea’s N’Golo Kanté (31), who is currently embroiled in discussions with the London club over a contract extension. The club’s interest has now turned to Hazard, whose Real Madrid contract expires in June 2024.

Al-Nassr manager Rudi Garcia, who worked with the former Belgian international at Lille, has already made contact with Hazard, expressing his desire to recruit him this summer. The Hazard-Garcia link could be key should this transfer prove successful.
