Having moved from Rennes to Galatasaray during the 2021 summer transfer window, young French right-back Sacha Boey will have somewhat flown under the radar when he first made the move to Turkey – now, though, the 22-year-old looks set to be the subject of a more high-profile transfer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the former youth international is likely to move to the Premier League this summer, with Arsenal among the two teams to have enquired about the defender’s availability – however, talks have yet to take place with the Gunners.
Boey has featured throughout Galatasaray’s title-winning campaign this season, chipping in with one goal and four assists. He is now represented by CAA Stellar, with his new agents tasked with preparing a summer move. Members of the Galatasaray board, Romano adds, were in London this past week to speak with English clubs, and have valued the player at €25m.
The Paris native’s sole full season in France came in a loan spell with Dijon before his transfer to Galatasaray, where he would establish himself as a starter, although the team finished bottom of the top flight.
