Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain forward Édouard Michut (20), who is currently on loan at Championship club Sunderland, is attracting interest from Fulham.
The France U19 international joined Sunderland on a season-long loan from Les Parisiens in the summer, on a deal that, according to Romano, includes an option to make the move permanent.
The Frenchman has impressed during his time in the Championship, featuring 18 times for Sunderland in all competitions. The club are currently 12th in the Championship, but only six points away from the promotion places. Should Sunderland earn promotion to the Premier League, the purchase option in his contract will go up from €2.5m to €5m, according to Romano. That deal was agreed with PSG last summer.
However, other clubs are now interested in the PSG midfielder, whose contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions runs until the summer of 2025. Notably, Premier League side Fulham are among the sides following Michut’s situation.
