Foot Mercato are reporting that Olympique Lyonnais are interested in Stade Rennais right-back Hamari Traoré (30), whilst Premier League side Fulham have already submitted an offer for the player.
Traoré has been a mainstay in a Rennes side that is once again in contention for the European places in Ligue 1 this season. In 22 appearances in all competitions, he has one goal and one assist.
In the summer, the Malian international was coveted by La Liga giants Barcelona, although a transfer ultimately never materialised. However, clubs continue to show an interest in the Rennes defender. With just six months remaining on his contract, AS Roma have already displayed an interest.
Fulham, who have enjoyed a brilliant return to the Premier League thus far this season, have even made an offer for Traoré. The London club want to sign him this winter and have submitted an offer worth between €3-4m.
Lyon are now also trying to sign the player. Discussions have already taken place between the relevant actors in the deal, with his experience much sought after by Les Gones manager Laurent Blanc.
