Jean-Ricner Bellegarde reaches agreement to join Wolves

Foot Mercato are reporting that RC Strasbourg Alsace midfielder Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (25) has reached an agreement to join Wolverhampton Wanderers. 

As reported by Mohamed Toubache-TerWolves submitted a €15m offer for the former France youth international. The French midfielder has started the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season in scintillating form, scoring twice and registering two assists in just three games. However, he may yet leave Les Alsaciens, who have two wins in their first three games of the season.

An agreement has now been reached between the player and the Premier League club. Bellegarde wants to leave Les Alsaciens and will not extend his current deal with the club, which is set to expire at the end of the season. Negotiations between Strasbourg and Wolves are ongoing in order to reach an agreement. 

During his time with Les Alsaciens, Bellegarde has played 138 games, during which time he has registered eight goals and 16 assists.
