Jonathan David wants to move to the Premier League

According to Foot Mercato, Jonathan David (23) would like to leave Lille this summer. If a move for the Canadian international does materialise, David would prefer a move to England in the Premier League. If Lille do lose David, they plan to make a swoop for Gent’s latest goalscoring sensation Gift Orban, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

David was in stellar form for Les Dogues last season, scoring 24 goals in Ligue 1. His considerable track record of reliable goal scoring form has created lots of interest in the striker’s services. Such demand means Lille have placed a €50m price tag on the former agent forward.

As things stand, David has no contract proposals on the table and Lille have received no offers for the striker. However, with Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea all reportedly in the market for a striker, a move to the Premier League could yet materialise.
