RC Lens manager Franck Haise is attracted by the idea of managing in the Premier League, and some English clubs have already enquired about the French manager, according to L’Équipe.
Haise joined Le Sang et Or in February 2020, when the club were in Ligue 2. Having got Lens promoted at the first time of asking, the club consolidated their position in Ligue 1 before making a charge up the table. Haise’s side have secured second position this season and will next season feature in the Champions League group stages.
However, Haise wants assurances that a competitive team will be constructed next season to allow Lens to compete on both fronts. Speaking in a press conference on Saturday, Haise said that “there could be offers. There already have been.”
L’Équipe are reporting that Haise is now interesting many clubs. If he had forced a departure, he would have followed Florent Ghisolfi in making the move to OGC Nice in the mid-season, whilst AS Monaco and Olympique de Marseille are also interested in the French manager.
Haise has always been attracted by the idea of managing in the Premier League, and some English clubs have even enquired in recent weeks. However, he is prioritising staying with Lens.
