Ligue 1 Predictions, Round 37

GFFN editor-in-chief Raphaël Jucobin and GFFN senior editor Luke Entwistle face off in our Ligue 1 predictions competition. It’s three points for a correct score, two points for a correct score difference, and one point for a correct result. Who will come out on top at the end of the season?

Raphaël: 218

Luke: 216

Game of the week: Stade Rennais v AS Monaco, Saturday 20:00 (UK)

Luke: PSG only need a draw to wrap up the Ligue 1 title, and they shouldn’t have too much difficulty getting it against a Strasbourg side that ensured their top-flight status for next season last weekend. However, European places are still on the line. Monaco’s match against Rennes is crucial for both sides. Defeat for Les Monégasques would leave them outside of the European places altogether should Lille pick up a win against Nantes, who are fighting to remain in Ligue 1. With two games left, they are one point behind Auxerre, who face Toulouse this weekend. Should Auxerre get the win and Nantes fail to get a result against European-chasing Lille, Les Canaris will be relegated.

Strasbourg 1-2 PSG

Lyon 2-2 Reims
