Ligue 1 results | Round 26
Nice 1-1 Auxerre
Gaëtan Laborde’s bullet header ruled out Gauthier Hein’s opener for Auxerre. Didier Digard’s unbeaten run continues, but Nice will be disappointed not to have backed up their win against local rivals Monaco from last weekend.
Lens 1-1 Lille
The Derby du Nord ended in a stalemate, but allowed Le Sang et Or to momentarily reach the podium places. Jonathan David cancelled out José Fonte’s first-half own goal.
PSG 4-2 Nantes
Les Parisiens made hard work out of their match against Nantes. They relinquished a two-goal advantage before Danilo allowed PSG to regain the lead. Kylian Mbappé then provided the record-breaking moment, scoring his 201st goal for the club.
Troyes 2-2 Monaco
The Principality club will be disappointed to only take away a point from the Stade de l’Aube. Having gone into the break a goal down, a Wissam Ben Yedder brace gave Monaco a lead, which they ultimately lost in injury time due to an Iké Ugbo header.
Strasbourg 0-1 Brest
Franck Honorat gave Brest the win in a crucial relegation six-pointer. Strasbourg are outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.
Reims 1-0 Ajaccio
Will Still’s incredible run as manager continues at Reims. He remains unbeaten since taking over in September and has Jens Cajuste to thank for the three points. The Swedish midfielder netted with the last kick of the game.
Toulouse 0-1 Clermont Foot
Saîf-Eddine Khaoui scored the only goal of the game as Toulouse suffered a surprise home defeat against Clermont Foot. Both sides remain in mid-table.
Montpellier 5-0 Angers
Montpellier ran riot in this battle at the bottom. Téji Savanier was instrumental in the result, scoring twice, whilst Nabil Bentaleb was sent off for Angers, who remain rooted to the foot of the Ligue 1 table.
Lyon 0-0 Lorient
Neither side could find a goal at the Groupama Stadium with both sides settling for a point. Lyon are struggling to find consistency, and look set to miss out on Europe, barring cup success.
Rennes 0-1 Marseille
Les Phocéens have consolidated their second place in Ligue 1 thanks to a professional victory over European chasers Rennes. Sead Kolasinac got the only goal of the game as Marseille bounced back from their midweek embarrassment against Annecy.
