Lorient’s Enzo Le Fée opts for move to Rennes

Having enjoyed a breakout year with Lorient this past season, French midfielder Enzo Le Fée has become the subject of increasing interest from around the continent – with Borussia Dortmund namely among the 23-year-old’s potential suitors for a summer move.

However, according to Le Parisien, the French youth international, who is under contract until the end of next year, has decided to stay in Brittany – and join Rennes.

Le Fée, who will turn out for France at the U21 Euros this summer, has indicated to Ligue 1’s 4th-placed side that he wants to sign, following a meeting with the upper management. The midfielder is said to have been convinced after discussing with sporting director Florian Maurice and manager Bruno Génésio.

The terms for a prospective contract has already been agreed between Le Fée’s team and Rennes, and the latter party are now set to enter talks with Lorient – who are hoping to draw out the highest possible fee from the move.
