Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luís Campos today spoke with Téléfoot about Paris Saint-Germain’s star players including Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, and Neymar – and how they need the other squad members to help them win trophies in the French capital.
The PSG advisor said that “Big stars can’t win trophies alone. They can win a game, two games, or even a few games. But they need others,” referring to the Parisian frontline of Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, and Neymar. “They harmony around the squad,” he added.
Campos then went on to talk about how the club balances its’ stars with the squad saying, “We’ve made great progress, but we’ve need to continue to make more progress.”
Some of those lesser-names will be getting their chance to shine for PSG lately, with the absence of Neymar in the last two matches as well as Kylian Mbappé’s injury against Montpellier meaning that only Lionel Messi is left to hold the mantle as PSG superstar in the lead up to what will be a crunch month for PSG.
