According to Foot Mercato, Charleroi midfielder Adem Zorgane is the newest transfer target of Lyon. The Algerian defensive midfielder would be an excellent pickup for the Ligue 1 team, but as with the other midfield targets OL has had this January the likelihood of getting him from his club is unlikely, at least for this season.
The 23-year-old is not only a regular starter in the Belgian Pro League but is a key part of his team scoring 1 goal and 7 assists on the season. It was also reported that the Belgian club blocked him from leaving and the club’s financial demands are very high.
With another missed target OL’s transfer window strategy has not gone to plan. Whether that be a scouting issue or from the business side of things the Rhône club has failed to bring in players to compete for a starting role. Even when it seemed like things were turning around with the signing of Wilson Isidor his transfer was declined due to failing his medical evaluation. This leaves only hours for OL to bring in reinforcements.
