Following his brace in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva (28) spoke about his future and the links to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese international has been at the centre of transfer speculation, linking him with a move to Les Parisiens next season as a possible replacement for Lionel Messi (35). L’Équipe reported on Tuesday that Silva was in regular contact with PSG’s Sporting Consultant Luís Campos, and was keen on a move to the French capital.
When questioned about his future, Silva remained focused on his current objectives, stating in an interview transcribed by RMC Sport, “The plan is to end the season well, win the Premier League, go against United in the FA Cup final, and then Inter. After that, in the summer, we will see what happens.”
Silva’s 2 goals against Real Madrid bring him to a total of 7 goals and 5 assists in all competitions this season, further solidifying his place as one of the summer’s top prospects for the biggest clubs in the world.
Before becoming a star in the Premier League the 28-year-old took Ligue 1 by storm with AS Monaco as one of the key members of the “summer transfer group” that included a young Kylian Mbappé and would ultimately beat PSG to win Ligue 1.
