Amid uncertainty over which European competition the club will be playing in next season, Monaco have been planning out what promises to be a busy summer, not least with the departure of sporting director Paul Mitchell – although the Englishman is helping to plan out the transfer window.
Several high-profile departures are to be expected, especially if the club once again misses out on the Champions League. Specifically, Brazilian right-back Vanderson is being looked at by several Premier League outfits, according to RMC Sport tonight. Manchester United in particular are said to be ready to make an offer for the 21-year-old, who first arrived in the Principality in January of last year, should they have any departures in the same position. In his year and a half in the Principality, Vanderson has made just over half a century of appearances, finding the net three times and registering three assists.
His compatriot on the left flank, Caio Henrique, is also considering his future and is not short of potential suitors, although he recently extended his contract until 2027 and Monaco will have a high asking price.
