Manchester United scout at Nice-Lille to watch Jean-Clair Todibo and Khéphren Thuram

Fabrizio Romano has reported that a Manchester United scout is in attendance at tonight’s match between OGC Nice and Lille OSC to watch Jean-Clair Todibo (23). Get French Football News can confirm this information, as well as reveal that the scout is also monitoring Khéphren Thuram (22) during the Ligue 1 curtain-raiser.

Todibo is reportedly a target for Manchester United, should Harry Maguire (30) complete his departure from the club. Talks have been initiated, according to RMC Sportbut according to L’Équipe, Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard (27) is the priority for Erik Ten Hag’s side.

Manchester United are still monitoring Todibo, with a scout at the Allianz Riviera tonight to watch the former Barcelona defender. The Red Devils scout is also here to watch Thuram, who was linked with a moe to rivals Liverpool earlier this summer.

The duo are reportedly valued between €40-50m, and whilst Les Aiglons would like to keep hold of the pair, sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has said that a transfer could happen, if it suits all parties. The duo have also been named as Nice’s vice-captains for the 2023/24 season.
