Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey (30) is attracting interest from AS Monaco, according to Ignazio Genuardi. The Ghanaian international midfielder’s representatives are working on a summer exit, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported that there is interest from Saudi Arabia in the former Atletico Madrid midfielder, whose contract with The Gunners runs until 2025. However, according to Genuardi, there is also interest from Europe. Monaco are notably interested, as are clubs in Italy. The identities of the potential suitors in Serie A have yet to be revealed.
Monaco are likely to be in the market for a midfielder this summer. The Principality club looked to Arsenal in January and were interested in Sambi Lokonga before the Belgian instead made a loan move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. However, Les Monégasques’ need for reinforcements could be more pressing this summer, given that Youssouf Fofana is being strongly linked with a departure.
The France international is open to leaving Monaco this season, whilst according to L’Équipe, UEFA Europa Conference League winners West Ham United would be interested in signing the former Strasbourg midfielder,
