RMC Sport are reporting that AS Monaco are interested in Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace defender Ismaël Doukouré (19), who is rated at €15m.
However, Les Monégasques may face competition for his signature. The French publication adds that Eintracht Frankfurt and Red Bull Leipzig are also interested in Doukouré, who was recently called up to the France U21 side. RMC Sport adds that English clubs are also interested in the player, who has a versatile profile and can also play in midfield.
Given that Doukouré’s contract at Strasbourg runs until 2026, he won’t come cheap, and he is reportedly valued at €15m. He is not the only centre-back being targeted by Monaco, and it is clearly an area where the Principality club are looking to strengthen. They lost Benoît Badiashile to Chelsea in January, whilst Axel Disasi could also leave this summer. The France international is attracting interest from across Europe, notably from Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
