Eliesse Ben Seghir is expected to partner Wissam Ben Yedder up front for AS Monaco, as they prepare to welcome Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace to the Stade Louis II on Sunday.
Les Monégasques are suffering from somewhat of an injury crisis up front. Breel Embolo has suffered a knee sprain and will be out for some weeks, whilst Myron Boadu had his tonsils removed earlier this week, and will therefore also be absent. Kevin Volland’s return is therefore timely, although he will likely not be fit enough to start against Strasbourg.
Elsewhere, there will likely be few surprises, but as it has throughout the season, the main question mark revolves around who will start on the right of the midfield. Vanderson, more accustomed to playing at right-back, has played the role recently, whilst Krépin Diatta is one of Philippe Clement’s favourites, notably because of his defensive work rate.
