Wissam Ben Yedder may be dropped in favour of Breel Embolo for the final game of the season against FC Toulouse. AS Monaco will be without Aleksandr Golovin as they chase the European places.
Ben Yedder has lost his scoring touch during the run-in, and could therefore cede his place in the starting XI to Embolo, who is returning to full fitness following a knee injury. On the left wing, Takumi Minamino could get a rare start in the absence of Golovin, who is suffering from an adductor injury.
It could be the last match for many Monégasques. Alexander Nübel, whose loan from Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season, isn’t expected to return to the Principality club. Axel Disasi and Youssouf Fofana are strongly linked with departures, whilst the futures of Vanderson, Ben Yedder and Kevin Volland are also being questioned.
