According to Foot Mercato, Neymar (31) will undergo his medical in the coming hours ahead of a €90m move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
Neymar’s stay at Paris Saint-Germain is coming to an end. The Brazilian international joined the club from Barcelona for a world-record fee back in 2017 and has gone on to make 173 appearances for Les Parisiens. During that time, he has scored 118 goals and registered 77 assists.
It was thought that Luis Enrique’s arrival would help Neymar get back to his best, however, just days before the start of their Ligue 1 title defence, Luis Enrique and Luis Campos informed the Brazilian that he was surplus to requirements and that he should find a new club.
It was reported by L’Équipe on Sunday that Neymar had agreed a move to Al Hilal, and on Monday, the publication reported an agreement between the two clubs. In light of this, the former Barcelona forward will undergo his medical in the coming hours, according to Foot Mercato. The player is expected in Riyadh later this week in order to complete the transfer. According to Le Parisien, the transfer is worth around €90m, and the player himself will earn around €100m per year.
