OGC Nice manager Didier Digard has revealed that since taking the reigns at the club, he has received offers from other clubs.
Since taking over from Lucien Favre at the start of January, Digard is unbeaten with Les Aiglons. The former Nice captain, who also featured for Middlesborough and Paris Saint-Germain during his playing days, has overseen a revival, which offers Les Aiglons an unlikely shot at securing European football for next season.
Prior to Nice’s 3-0 victory against local rivals AS Monaco on Sunday, Digard confirmed that he has been confirmed in his role as manager at the club until the end of the season. Speaking to Nice-Matin, he confirmed his desire to remain at Nice beyond the end of the current campaign.
Digard’s run has, however, already caught the eyes of rival clubs, although as he told Nice-Matin, he hasn’t paid any attention to the offers that he has received since taking the helm at Le Gym. “I am at Nice. I want to win all the matches and continue the adventure here. I’m not planning further ahead than that, but I know football. My desire is to stay. I have received offers, but I’m not paying any attention to them,” said Digard.
