Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo approached by Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa

Nice-Matin are reporting that Newcastle United, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli have all approached OGC Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo (23) in the past months.

Todibo was tipped for a departure this summer, but according to Nice-Matin, he now may remain at the Allianz Riviera for a fourth season. Under contract until 2027, the former Barcelona man is open to remaining with Les Aiglons and the stability that that decision would provide may help him achieve his dream of competing for France at Euro 2024.

The Frenchman may remain at Nice despite multiple clubs around Europe, including Premier League trio Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa all making contact in recent months. Nice-Matin are also reporting that multiple Saudi Arabian clubs have also enquired about Todibo this summer, but the Nice defender has not opened the door to a move to the Gulf State. Nice want between €40-50m for Todibo.
