Premier League side Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas (36) on loan for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
After several hours of negotiation the two clubs found the breakthrough in a deal which did not always look possible, even on deadline day. The Costa Rican had agreed to move to the Premier League club several days ago.
Navas, a triple Champions League winner, had been second-choice at PSG since the start of the season, when Gianluigi Donnarumma was officially named the number one by manager Christophe Galtier.
Last season, the two had shared game time equally, but this campaign, the 36-year-old had only appeared in cup games. Despite this, Navas had made over a hundred appearances in the French capital, winning two Ligue 1 titles. However, it appeared that he was set to leave the club either during the winter transfer window or in the summer.
