Official | Toulouse loan Junior Flemmings to Chamois Niortais

Toulouse have announced tonight that Jamaican forward Junior Flemmings has left the club on loan to spend the rest of the season at Ligue 2 outfit Chamois Niortais, in a deal that does not include an option to make the move permanent.

The 27-year-old made the move from Birmingham Legion FC last year and made three appearances in the club’s Ligue 2 promotion campaign, but has yet to feature this season in the top flight, instead turning out for the reserve side.

Flemmings, who started out with the New York Red Bulls, notably found success with Phoenix Rising, where he scored 15 and 14 goals respectively in the 2019 and 2020 USLC seasons. He now joins a side which is in dire need of goals – the Deux-Sèvres team currently sit rock bottom of Ligue 2 and have only found the net 18 times this season, the joint-lowest tally in the entire division. He has 4 goals in 26 caps for Jamaica.
