RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins is reporting that AC Milan’s Pierre Kalulu (23) and Chelsea’s Trveoh Chalobah (24) are on Bayern Munich’s shortlist to replace Inter Milan-bound Benjamin Pavard (27).
Despite interest from Manchester United, Pavard looks set to join Inter Milan before the end of the window. Bayern Munich are already planning for the France international’s departure. According to Hawkins, the Bavarian club are studying the possibility of taking AC Milan’s Kalulu on loan. The prospective deal would include an option to make the move permanent. However, for now, there is no contact between the two clubs.
Another name on the shortlist is Chalobah. The English centre-back, who like Pavard, can also feature at right-back, has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. Axel Disasi’s arrival from AS Monaco earlier this summer have thrown Chalobah’s future into doubt, and Bayern Munich may offer him an exit route before the end of the window.
