PSG choose Julian Nagelsmann & Thierry Henry combo to replace Christophe Galtier

According to Foot Mercato, Julian Nagelsmann is considered a serious candidate for the PSG managerial job by Qatar. The German coach recently left Bayern Munich at the end of March and is currently a free agent, reportedly eager to take on his next challenge.

Foot Mercato say that discussions between Doha and Nagelsmann have already taken place, with more planned in the near future. Qatar would also reportedly welcome the potential arrival of former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry in Nagelsmann’s coaching team.

The former Bayern Munich man has already had discussions with Thierry Henry, and the former player is reportedly keen to join PSG. This meeting between the two individuals further strengthens the interest of the Parisian club in Nagelsmann, who is currently seen as their top priority for the coaching position. PSG are now looking to reach an agreement with the German coach quickly, and Nagelsmann is also open to this opportunity.

Christophe Galtier has most likely managed his final game for PSG, a 3-2 loss at home to Clermont at the Parc des Princes. L’Équipe reported several days ago that the presence in Paris of Sheikh Tamim ben Hamad al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar and de facto owner of PSG, had resulted in the dismissal of Galtier.
