As confirmed via a press release from Paris Saint-Germain, manager Christophe Galtier will be without Neymar for their upcoming Ligue 1 match against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes.
The Brazilian forward is suffering from muscular pain in his adductor and will continue with individual treatment, with plans to rejoin the team next week. This absence follows the recent injury of teammate Kylian Mbappé, who will also be missing the Toulouse match.
Neymar’s absence will no doubt be a disappointment for PSG fans, as the Brazilian also missed the Parisiens’ trip to Montpellier in the week where Mbappé had suffered an injury to his knee and had to be hauled off in the 20th minute.. With Neymar and Mbappé both out, the responsibility will fall on the rest of the squad to step up and deliver a strong performance against Toulouse, and could facilitate a starting position for striker Hugo Ekitike.
