According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lille OSC duo Lény Yoro (17) and Lucas Chevalier (22) in January.
The summer transfer window marked a change in strategy at PSG. Luís Campos targeted young, French players, notably bringing Bradley Barcola, Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembélé and Lucas Hernandez to the club. The Portuguese sporting consultant looks set to continue with that strategy going forward, and Campos is now targeting Lille’s Yoro and Chevalier.
Yoro has been dominant in Lille’s backline this season and has consolidated his place in the starting XI under Paulo Fonseca, even despite the arrival of Samuel Umtiti during the summer. Chevalier, who has six clean sheets in his first 11 Ligue 1 matches this season, is also of interest to Les Parisiens. PSG are interested in buying Chevalier, before loaning him back to Les Dogues until the end of the season. However, it remains to be seen whether Lille are willing to let two of their most promising assets leave, and if so, at what cost.
