Young PSG prospect Ayman Kari (18) is expected to join Ligue 1 sixth-placed side Lorient on a six-month loan with no option to buy, according to a report from L’Equipe.
The publication states that the PSG hierarchy have given the green light regarding the loan move of one of their most promising midfielders. The Ivry-sur-Seine-born midfielder signed his first professional contract this month, tying him to his formative club until 2025. Kari has been training with the PSG first-team squad in recent weeks. The U19 France international was being courted by several Ligue 1 outfits but Lorient appear to have won the race. The Brittany club are reportedly finalising the terms of the loan deal with the Ligue 1 leaders.
The 18-year-old prospect should flourish under the guidance of promising Lorient coach Régis Le Bris (47). Les Merlus are this season’s surprise package. This Friday, they defeated 5th-placed side Rennes.
