According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain have submitted a new offer for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani (24), which includes Hugo Ekitiké (21) moving the opposite way.
Foot Mercato reported on Monday that PSG and Frankfurt had struck an agreement over Ekitiké’s transfer. Les Parisiens reportedly gave their German counterparts favourable terms, in the hope that Frankfurt would do the same in negotiations for Kolo Muani.
However, contrary to that report, L’Équipe are reporting that PSG have submitted a fresh bid. After a fresh round of talks, PSG have offered €65m, without bonuses, but with Ekitiké. The Bundesliga club are yet to respond to the offer. Ekitiké’s decision will be important in facilitating the deal, with Frankfurt yet to agree terms with the player. The former Stade de Reims forward is also the subject of interest from West Ham United, although the Premier League club are yet to submit an offer to PSG.
